Where is the event held? The Diamond Gala takes place at Katherine L. White Hall at Vashon Center for the Arts, located at 19600 Vashon Hwy SW, Vashon, WA 98070.
What's the difference between the two ticket types? The Cocktail Party Ticket ($75) gives you access to the evening's opening celebration from 5:00–7:00 PM, including cocktails, festive games, and the silent auction. The Premier Gala Ticket ($250) includes everything — the cocktail party, plus the full seated gala dinner, live auction, and special entertainment that follow at 7:15 PM.
What is the dress code? We're calling it "Elegant Vashon Chic" — think cocktail dresses, gowns, sharp suits, and a touch of sparkle. Have fun with it and dress for a glamorous night out!
How does the silent auction work? The silent auction will be open during the Cocktail Party from 5:00–7:00 PM. You'll be able to browse and bid on a wonderful curated selection of items. Bidding details will be provided at the event.
How does the live auction work? The live auction takes place during the Gala Dinner and is open to Premier Gala Ticket holders. A lively auctioneer will lead the bidding on a selection of extraordinary items. You must be present to bid in the live auction.
Can I attend just the Cocktail Party? Absolutely! The Cocktail Party Ticket ($75) is a wonderful way to celebrate with us, enjoy the silent auction, and support VCA — even if you're not joining us for dinner.

How do I get to Vashon Island? Vashon Island is accessible by Washington State Ferry from West Seattle (Fauntleroy) or from the Kitsap Peninsula (Southworth). For ferry schedules and directions to VCA, visit wsdot.wa.gov/ferries or vashoncenterforthearts.org.
Who benefits from my ticket purchase and auction bids? Every dollar raised at the Diamond Gala directly supports Vashon Center for the Arts — funding arts education, student scholarships, performances, exhibitions, and community programs that enrich life on Vashon Island.
